Howard Kelleher Memorial
Scholarship

Each year MERIT Resource Services offers two (2) $1,000 scholarships to Yakima Valley  high school seniors that are planning to attend college or trade school after high school. This year, for 2018, we are again adding a third $1,000 scholarship for students in Kittitas County as well as a fourth $1,000 scholarship for students in Benton and Franklin Counties.. The Scholarship is in memory of Howard Kelleher who passed away in 2005 at the age of ninety-eight. Howard was a long time recovering alcoholic who tried to help others get sober. He was one of the original founders of MERIT Resource Services as well as a founder of Sundown M Ranch and Triumph Treatment Services.
